Everyone “from” here is from Maryland. #trufax this is a personal pet peeve of mine. it’s not like dc is a general area like “the greater metropolitan dc area” is. at least that one has some wiggle room. hell, i live in “the greater metropolitan dc area”. dc itself, however, has specific borders you can see on a map. if you don’t live within those borders, you don’t fucking live in dc. another good indicator is if your mailing address has VA or MD in it. This isnt restricted to dc (where the parents are from…bealeton) Im from “chicago” and “pittsburgh”
